Job summary

A technology service provider is looking for a Computer Field Technician to perform on-site hardware repairs and installations for laptops and desktops. This role is a 1099 position, where pay is based on completed calls, starting at $35. Candidates must be available for local travel during weekdays and have prior experience with computer hardware repairs. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory for this position. Certifications will be provided as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Must be comfortable with daily local travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units.
• Confirm service times with customers in the tech portal.
• Pick up parts daily from the assigned FedEx or UPS store.
