This role requires strong organization, communication, and teamwork, with the ability to work independently while navigating community resources. You will drive the mobile clinic to communities, coordinate events, and assist with community screenings and Wellness for Life programs, ensuring efficient service delivery

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required; post-secondary coursework or certification in healthcare, medical assisting, nursing, public health, or related field preferred.
  • Experience providing clerical and administrative support in a healthcare or community health setting, including scheduling, data entry, calendar management, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of basic clinical workflows and patient support, including EMR documentation, quality/compliance standards, and assisting with routine clinical tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with providers, staff, community partners, and patients, including recognizing and escalating urgent situations.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a mobile clinic environment, supporting multiple locations, events, and outreach activities.
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle; valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.

Responsibilities

  • Support all clinical activities and providers in the mobile clinic.
  • Drive the Mobile Clinic to communities within the health system’s market and remain with the clinic during service delivery.
  • Coordinate mobile clinic events and outreach, including health fairs and community screenings.
  • Assist with documentation and data collection as part of routine clinic operations.
  • Collaborate with staff and partners to navigate community resources for patients.

Education

High school diploma or GED
Healthcare-related coursework or certification (preferred)
Experience in clerical/administrative healthcare support
Knowledge of clinical workflows and EMR documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate a vehicle with valid driver's license

Position Description: The Mobile Clinic Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all clinical activities and providers in the provision of medical services on the mobile clinic. This position requires strong organizational skills, communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team by navigating community resources and supporting patients in a mobile healthcare setting. Work involves driving the Mobile Clinic to communities within the health system’s market and remaining with the clinic throughout the duration of providing clinical services, coordinating mobile clinic events, while also supporting all community screenings and other programs in the Wellness for Life department.

  1. 1. High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework or certification in healthcare, medical assisting, nursing, public health, or a related field preferred.
  2. 2. Experience providing clerical and administrative support in a healthcare or community health setting, including scheduling, data entry, calendar management, and tracking/reporting information.

  5. 5. Ability to work independently and adapt to a mobile clinic environment, including supporting multiple clinic locations, community events, health fairs, and outreach activities.
  6. 6. This position requires the ability to operate a vehicle as a job-related function; candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record acceptable under company and insurance guidelines.
