Glen Group is recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Mobile Cleaner to join our cleaning team across various sites in the Somerset area, supporting on-site teams to maintain high cleaning standards in schools and council buildings. You will travel between sites, follow a schedule, and complete cleaning duties with attention to detail.

The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with a team. DBS check is required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cleaning preferred, full training provided.
• Must be flexible to work across sites within Somerset/Staffordshire portfolio.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Glen Group are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Mobile Cleaner to join a well-established and growing cleaning business in Various sites within the Somerset area to support our on-site teams to deliver a high standard of cleaning across multiple Schools & Council Buildings ensuring all locations are safe, hygienic and welcoming staff, students & visitors.

The role involves travel between sites and requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. To follow a schedule provided by your Service Delivery Manager, providing cleaning cover for absences across a variety of sites within our Staffordshire portfolio.

You must be available to work Monday to Friday, working 30 hours per week, working 6 hours per day, we require you to be flexible with your working hours, as these could be any time between 06:00-20:00 & can vary each day.

The Rate of Pay for this position is £13.50 per hour.

This is a hands-on cleaning position, so cleaning experience is preferred however not essential, full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of cleaning and to be part of the Glen family, you will need to demonstrate diplomacy with fellow staff, customers, and your surroundings.

You must be trustworthy, well-organized flexible, and reliable with a keen eye for attention to detail.

You must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to Customer/ Site Team

Follow all COSHH, H/S and colour coding.

Use of Timegate for Actual pay

Daily rectification of faults

Cleaning a mix of areas thoroughly

Support the Service Delivery Manager in ensuring the contracted hours for sites are provided.

Assist in standdown cleans, deep cleans, emergency cleans, or cover duties when needed.

Carry out all required cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, surface disinfection, washroom cleaning, emptying bins, and replenishing supplies.
