Job summary

SentraCam in Concord, CA is seeking a hands-on CCTV/Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot security systems across diverse sites.

You will pull network cabling, interface with access control, and train junior techs while traveling 20–25% of the time. We value reliability, safety, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience with the installation and service of physical security systems such as CCTV and access control.
• Working knowledge of IP networking, subnets, VLANS, gateways, and IP addressing.
• Must be able to pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Ability to climb and work at heights and operate on ladders or bucket trucks.

Responsibilities

• Install and service CCTV, surveillance, access control systems, and related low-voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot CCTV cameras, access control devices, and network issues.
• Pull indoor/outdoor network cabling and terminate diverse cabling types.
• Travel to remote locations to install or service customer systems.
• Train other technicians in CCTV, surveillance, and access control installations and troubleshooting.
