Job summary

Latitudeinc is seeking a skilled CCTV/Security Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems for commercial and residential clients. The role requires hands-on work with analog and IP-based systems, access control, and alarms, with travel to client sites as needed.

You will diagnose issues, configure networks, and provide client training while maintaining thorough documentation. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in the field, relevant certifications, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in CCTV/security system installation and maintenance.
Proficiency with analog and IP-based security systems, access control, and alarm systems.
Familiarity with basic networking principles, including IP addressing and router configuration.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CTS, or manufacturer-specific) are a plus.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively and safely.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and navigate confined spaces.

Responsibilities

Install CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and related hardware at client sites.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with CCTV, alarm, and security systems.
Set up and configure network-based security systems, including IP cameras and remote monitoring solutions.
Provide training and support to clients on system operations and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs for reporting purposes.
Ensure all installations comply with industry standards, company policies, and local regulations.
