Job summary

Cardiac Imaging, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Perris, CA to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic cardiac studies under physician supervision.

The role requires NM degree with NMTCB/ARRT certification and BLS. Travel across Southern California, Texas and Oklahoma will be required as part of mobile and fixed solutions. Recent graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine from an approved program.
• Certification by NMTCB or ARRT with state certification as applicable; maintain
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and maintained.
• Nuclear Cardiology experience preferred; recent graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiopharmaceuticals intravenously under cardiologist supervision.
• Calculates, measures and records radiation dosage per physician prescription.
• Maintains quality control of patient care and equipment usage.
• Performs QC checks on laboratory equipment and logs issues.
• Calibrates and maintains radioisotope equipment; handle calibration as needed.
• Prepares radiopharmaceuticals, following safety standards and exposure controls.
• Explains procedures to patients and assists during tests.
• Travel between Texas and Oklahoma as required.
