Job summary

CBRE seeks a Mobile Technician to service retail facilities across Northern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. You will start each day from home, then travel in a company vehicle to multiple sites, performing preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.

The role requires basic trades experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. You will use Corrigo and Microsoft Office to manage work orders and report outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience. A valid Driver’s License is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Corrigo experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems for facilities.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Manage work orders with estimated time to completion and required materials.
• Support energy management to ensure efficient system operation.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members to convey information.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Mobile Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing retail facilities across Northern Massachusetts and New Hampshire. This field-based position offers the freedom to leave directly from home each day and travel to assigned sites in a fully equipped company vehicle.

You'll apply a variety of technical skills, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance, ensuring facilities operate safely and efficiently. No two days are the same, providing hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio of retail locations.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.

• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

• Must demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills in reviewing work orders, provide estimated time of completion and materials needed to complete the repair.

• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.

• Oversee compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.

• Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.

• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver’s License required.

• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Apple products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Corrigo experience is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

• Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

The minimum salary for the Mobile Tech position is $28 per hour and the maximum salary for the Mobile Tech position is $38 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
