Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to support facilities across Waterbury, CT. The role involves preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, inspections of interior/exterior areas, and coordination with senior staff to ensure optimal operations.

The position requires a high school diploma, 1 year of related trade experience, and proficiency with CMMS (Maximo) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, CMMS (Maximo).
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 ft., and work in adverse conditions including extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts while maintaining and repairing plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps.
• Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and furniture throughout assigned facilities.
• Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers and other building systems to ensure compliance.
• Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks to maintain buildings.
• Complete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
• Prioritize all preventative maintenance, corrective and emergent work orders for assigned sites.
• Update work order status in real time utilizing CMMS system and communicate issues to customers and management promptly.
