Job summary

Felton Institute's IHART program in Vallejo seeks a Team Leader to guide a 12-hour mobile response unit handling low-level 911 calls. You will supervise daily operations and help shape the program's culture toward inclusive, trauma-informed service delivery.

The role requires experience with youth/adults facing mental health, substance use, or homelessness, strong collaboration with partners, and ability to work evenings and weekends. Competitive benefits and salary range $80k-$90k DOE.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years' experience with transition-age youth or adults with substance use disorders, mental illness, homelessness, or related challenges.
• Ability to work from a strength-based, client-centered model with harm reduction practices.
• Written communication skills in English adequate to draft basic progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and connect participants to community resources.
• Oversee daily operations of a 12-hour alternative response unit.
• Coordinate with the Program Manager to implement program models and training.
• Monitor and report shift vacancies and ensure program coverage.
