Job summary

Get Spiffy Inc. is seeking an experienced Mobile Automotive Mechanic to join our fleet service team. You will work independently across multiple locations, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a variety of fleet vehicles.

This role offers steady hourly pay (non-flat rate), a company-provided service vehicle, and full benefits including medical, dental and vision, PTO and sick time, plus growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding tech-enabled service model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive mechanic experience.
• Familiarity with diagnostic and repair manuals such as ProDemand.
• Must supply your own basic tools.
• Diesel experience.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements.
• Use diagnostic tools to analyze malfunctions and determine repair methods.
• Provide repair cost and time estimates.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Test vehicles to verify proper operation and customer satisfaction.
• Keep up-to-date with service manuals and bulletins.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to safety regulations.
