Job summary

Wrench Inc. is seeking Mobile Technicians to repair and maintain automotive vehicles, diagnose issues, and prepare cars for customers and partners.

This role covers engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and routine maintenance, with a focus on removing the hassles of vehicle ownership. As a 1099 contractor, you set your own schedule, negotiate your rate, select the jobs you want, and define your working area while delivering first‑class service on the road.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of automotive mechanic experience.
• Master Tech or Medium Duty experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to customer's home, workplace, or roadside locations with a fully equipped service vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain vehicles across a wide range of makes and models.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections and ensure scheduled maintenance is completed.
