Job summary

Allcleardandc is seeking a Mobile Automotive Technician to deliver on-site diagnostic, calibration, and repair services, helping collision shops restore vehicles to safe, reliable condition. You will communicate findings and provide exceptional service at every stop.

The role requires 2+ years of diagnostics, electrical, and mechanical experience, valid driver's license, and ASE/I-CAR certifications preferred.

  • 1+ year of OEM software experience required.
  • 1+ year of software programming/troubleshooting experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre- and post-repair scans and provide results to customers to determine necessary repairs.
  • Diagnostics, calibrations, and programming on automotive electronic systems to OEM standards.
  • Electrical and mechanical repairs as needed to ensure proper vehicle function and customer satisfaction.
  • Create invoices and submit documentation for all services provided.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through communication and proactive support.
  • Achieve weekly production goals through effective time management and technical execution.

Job description

The Mobile Automotive Technician delivers expert mobile diagnostic, calibration, and repair services that help collision shops restore vehicles to safe, reliable, and optimal condition while providing exceptional service and support at every stop.

Essential Functions
  • Perform pre- and post-repair scans and provide scan results to customers to determine necessary repairs.
  • Perform diagnostics, calibrations, and programming on automotive electronic systems to maintain OEM standards.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs as needed to ensure proper vehicle function and customer satisfaction.
  • Create invoices and submit documentation for all services provided.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through communication, service quality, and proactive support.
  • Consistently achieve weekly production goals through effective time management and technical execution.
  • Maintain assigned fleet vehicle including cleanliness, care, and routine maintenance.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Furnish and maintain personal tools required for job performance (specialty diagnostic equipment provided by the Company).
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • 2+ years of diagnostics experience required.
  • 2+ years of electrical experience required.
  • 2+ years of mechanical experience required.
  • 1+ year of OEM software experience required.
  • 1+ year of software programming/troubleshooting experience required.
  • ASE and I-CAR certifications preferred.
Work Schedule, Pay, and Travel
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (schedule may fluctuate based on customer needs).
  • Pay: $70,000 – $90,000 per year based on experience.
  • Occasional travel outside the normal operating area may be required for training, operational needs, or company projects.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Work in collision repair shop environments with loud noise and varying temperatures.
  • Frequently work in awkward positions, including underneath vehicles.
  • Stand, walk, sit, bend, squat, stoop, reach, push, and pull for extended periods.
Additional Information
  • Reports to: Area Manager.
  • Location: Varies.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
  • This position is classified as exempt.
