Job summary

Payne Weslaco Ford is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repairs at customer locations in and around Weslaco, TX. You must hold a valid driver’s license for at least three years and be 21 or older to ensure safe operation of the service vehicle.

You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance like oil changes, and provide cost estimates while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive training or certification preferred.
• Experience as automotive technician or mobile service technician.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3+ year record.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, and other issues.
• Explain repairs and provide cost estimates to customers.
• Keep accurate service records and maintain tools and vehicle.
