Job summary

Walser Automotive Group is seeking a Freeway Ford Light Duty Technician - Mobile Service in Minneapolis, MN. The role involves performing maintenance and repairs, following SOPs and safety guidelines, and meeting performance standards.

The technician will handle exhaust, tires, battery work, accessory installations, brake inspections, and more, with a focus on quality repairs and accurate documentation. ASE certifications and a valid driver’s license are required, with competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Automotive degree/certificate or minimum of 3 years related professional experience required
• Current ASE Certifications required

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, as well as being held to meeting pre-determined performance standards.
• Handle work on the Exhaust system of a vehicle, rotate tires, install batteries and replace battery cables
• Install accessories and shock absorbers (not including A/C and air shocks)
• Replace coolant hoses, mirrors, belts, signals, wiper washers, head lamps; align and replace lamp assembly and courtesy switch
• Perform brake inspections, wheel balancing, drains and flushes, and door/window adjustments
• Clean and replace PCV
• Diagnose and fix squeaks, rattles, wind noise and water leaks
• Work on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per dealership and factory standards
• Examine vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required
• Document all work performed on repair orders
• Utilize Truvideo/Estimate Tool
