Job summary

Dorian Ford in Clinton Township is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to join our team. You’ll travel to customer locations to perform mobile repairs, with a focus on quality and customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of automotive service experience, a valid Michigan driver license, and ASE/ Ford certifications are a plus. We offer a supportive family-owned environment, paid training, growth opportunities, and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Valid driver license with a safe driving record.
• State of Michigan mechanical license is required.
• ASE/Manufacturer Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
• Service Technician experience is required.
• Comfort using tablets and other tech devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Engage with many different customers daily and represent Dorian Ford.
• Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments.
• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per repair order.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Team to manage production and communication.
• Accurately document repairs/work performed on the repair order.
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training.
• Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions.
• Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle.
