Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights is seeking an Audiometric Technician for our mobile hearing testing program. This PRN role supports Speech Therapy and Rehab Administration and involves operating the testing truck, conducting pure tone audiometry, and educating workers on hearing conservation.

You will ensure proper calibration, review worker history before data entry, and assist the audiologist with CAOHC coursework. OSHA-compliant testing will occur at job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ohio Board licensure as an audiology aide.
• CAOHC certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the mobile hearing testing truck and trailer.
• Perform pure tone air conduction audiometry under supervision.
• Calibrate equipment and perform safety checks.
• Educate industrial workers on hearing conservation.
• Review case history before data entry.
• Assist the audiologist with CAOHC practicum.
• Provide testing per OSHA requirements in the mobile unit.
• Halt testing if equipment needs maintenance.
