Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a compassionate Dispensing Audiologist (Part-Time) to provide on-site audiology services to seniors at facilities. The role is an independent contractor arrangement; CMC handles scheduling and billing while you focus on patient care.

You will conduct hearing assessments, fittings, and follow-up care with geriatric populations; schedule is 1 day per month, 8 hours typically 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with all admin support provided.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program.
• Active state audiology license.
• Experience in geriatric or mobile audiology care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry.
• Diagnose and manage hearing disorders, including age-related hearing loss.
• Provide hearing aid consultations, fittings, programming, and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about hearing health, communication strategies, and device maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Ensure a comfortable and respectful environment tailored to geriatric needs.
