Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a dispensing audiologist to provide care to the elderly at facilities around Indianapolis. You will perform hearing assessments, fittings, and follow-up care with on-site support. The position is a part-time independent contractor role, offering flexibility and dedicated administrative support from CMC.

The successful candidate will hold an Au.D. degree with an active state license, have geriatric-audiology experience, and possess strong communication

Qualifications

• Au.D. degree from an accredited program.
• Active state audiology license.
• Geriatric or mobile audiology care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments (pure-tone, speech audiometry, tympanometry).
• Diagnose and manage hearing disorders, including age-related loss.
• Provide hearing aid consultations, fittings, programming and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about hearing health and device maintenance.
• Work with facility staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Create a comfortable, respectful environment tailored to geriatric needs.
• Schedule: 1 day per month; Weekday availability; 8-hour day (8:30 AM–4:30 PM).
