Job summary

Aria Care Partners is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide bedside hearing care to long-term care residents in skilled nursing facilities.

You will conduct otoscopic exams, diagnose and treat hearing loss, dispense and program hearing aids, and ensure accurate charting with facilities. This flexible part-time role offers a daily rate plus mileage, with a typical 9 am start and about 15 patients per facility.

Qualifications

• Provide hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities.
• Medical-based hearing care incl. wax removal, tympanometry, hearing tests, hearing aid dispenses.
• Attend clinics solo, responsible for charting & sending notes to facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct otoscopic exams
• Diagnose and treat hearing loss using mobile audiology equipment
• Dispense, program, maintain and repair hearing aids
• Cerumen removal
• Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options
• Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions
• Attend clinics solo; finalize electronic progress notes and email to facilities
