Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are key members of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in high-traffic environments, and are passionate about the connected world. They excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including onboarding customers to self-serve and the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on store experience, new skills, products, and systems. Review personal results and promotions regularly to stay customer-ready. Support store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and secure kiosk assets.
  4. Be customer-obsessed: connect personally, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Proactively reach out to potential customers, follow up, capture referrals, and manage sales processes. Perform price overrides for specific offers.
  5. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: passionate advocate, effective at balancing experience and performance (Required)
  • Team Building: willingness to collaborate, learn, and share best practices (Required)
  • Retail Sales: competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $17.50, with training and incentive opportunities. Full-time employees can earn an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts.
