Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are vital members of the Retail Team. They bring the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, focusing on active customer engagement. As ambassadors, they generate energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, are passionate about technology, and excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend solutions, consistently exceeding performance targets by providing exceptional service and meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Engage proactively with customers: Use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital tools: Use self-serve tools during interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate product value through solution-based selling. Help customers understand and utilize the T-Mobile app for self-service.
  3. Complete training: Learn the in-store experience, products, systems, and procedures. Review results and updates regularly to stay customer-ready. Support store onboarding, perform skills practice, and follow security procedures, including handling keys and reporting issues.
  4. Deliver exceptional customer service: Connect on a personal level, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up, manage referrals, and build relationships with new and existing customers. Perform price overrides for specific offers as needed.
  5. Build relationships: Collaborate with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Customer satisfaction focus and ability to connect with customers authentically.
    • Team-oriented mindset, willing to learn and share best practices.
    • Competitive sales drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licenses and Certifications:
    • Must be at least 18 years old

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with incentive opportunities during training and after promotion. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Eligible for annual stock grants.
