Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are vital members of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who generate energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in high-traffic environments, and are passionate about the connected world. They excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates are expected to exceed performance targets by providing excellent customer service, achieving sales goals, and meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Proactively interact with customers in a busy retail setting, using digital tools to educate and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Solution Selling: Use digital self-serve tools to identify customer needs, recommend wireless solutions, and help customers understand how to utilize the T-Mobile app for self-service, thereby deepening relationships and satisfaction.
  3. Training & Store Operations: Complete training on in-store experience, products, and systems. Review personal results and updates regularly. Support store operations, including opening/closing procedures, securing assets, and reporting issues.
  4. Customer Service & Sales: Be passionate and friendly, building rapport and trust with customers. Follow up, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when necessary to drive sales.
  5. Relationship Building: Collaborate with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to connect and have fun with customers (Required)
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic team, learn, and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age
