Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They are skilled at identifying customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates strive to exceed their performance targets by doing it the right way, which includes excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers: Use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions in a high-traffic retail environment.
  2. Leverage digital tools: Consistently use self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding. Identify customer needs and demonstrate solutions to deepen relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Training and store operations: Complete training on in-store experience, products, and systems. Review results and updates regularly. Support store operations including opening, closing, and securing assets.
  4. Customer obsession: Be friendly, engaging, and connect on a personal level. Provide exceptional service, follow up, and build loyalty. Perform price overrides when necessary.
  5. Relationship building: Build relationships with nearby teams to support customer experience from setup to support and servicing.
Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Work Experience:
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Customer-focused with a passion for service and fun interactions (Required)
  • Team player willing to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive sales drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay. After 90 days, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible with an incentive target of $18,000/year, varying with performance. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family benefits, tuition assistance, disability, and voluntary insurance options.
