Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are an essential part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They act as ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, are obsessed with the connected world, and excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend solutions, and aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Engage proactively with customers in a busy retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate product value to deepen relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Complete training on store experience, products, and systems; review results and updates regularly; partner with nearby stores for customer onboarding; perform store operational tasks including opening, closing, and securing assets.
  4. Provide passionate, friendly, and engaging customer service; build rapport and trust; follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when appropriate.
  5. Collaborate with store leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer satisfaction focus; ability to connect and have fun with customers while balancing performance goals (Required)
  • Team building; willingness to learn and share best practices with peers and leaders (Required)

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay. After 90 days, employees are eligible for a Mobile Expert role with an incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives, and are eligible for an annual stock grant. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, disability, insurance options, and discounts.
