Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are vital members of the Retail Team, responsible for representing the T-Mobile brand within National Sales partner locations. They engage actively with customers, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. These associates thrive in high-traffic environments, building relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and educating them about solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by delivering excellent sales and customer service, and meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Proactively interact with customers, using digital tools to educate and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Solution Selling: Leverage self-serve tools, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate wireless solutions to deepen relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Training and Knowledge: Complete training on products, systems, and store procedures; continuously improve skills to enhance customer experience.
  4. Customer Service: Build rapport and trust, provide exceptional service, follow up, and manage referrals and sales processes.
  5. Relationship Building: Collaborate with store leadership and teams to support customer account setup, device support, and account servicing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and effective communication skills (Required)
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Minimum 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.

During the first 90 days, associates receive training and are eligible for incentives. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible, with an annual incentive target of $18,000, subject to performance. All employees earn a minimum of $20/hour, including incentives, and are eligible for stock grants.
