Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are a vital part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is essential for success. They act as ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, are obsessed with the connected world, and adapt to evolving technology, customer needs, and the retail experience. Mobile Associates excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by doing it the right way—excel in sales, provide exceptional customer experiences, and meet quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities

1. Engage proactively with customers: Use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions in a high-traffic retail environment.
2. Leverage digital tools: Use self-serve tools during customer interactions to identify needs and demonstrate the value of products and services, including onboarding solutions via the T-Mobile app.
3. Complete training: Stay updated on in-store experience, products, processes, and systems. Review results, promotions, and updates regularly to stay customer-ready. Participate in store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and secure kiosk assets appropriately.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service: Connect on a personal level, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and support sales activities, including price overrides for special offers.
5. Support team collaboration: Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to enhance the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about customer advocacy, balancing experience and performance goals (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hr plus $5.00/hr training pay. During the first 90 days, training pay applies. After promotion to Mobile Expert, eligible for an annual incentive of approximately $18,000/year, depending on performance. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Every employee is also eligible for an annual stock grant.
