Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are key members of the Retail Team responsible for representing the T-Mobile brand within National Sales partner locations. They focus on active customer engagement, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. These associates thrive in high-traffic environments, are passionate about technology, and excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend solutions, and consistently exceed performance targets by providing exceptional service and meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities

1. Engage proactively with customers in a busy retail setting, utilizing digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate product value through solution-based selling, including onboarding and app utilization.
3. Complete training on store experience, products, systems, and processes; review personal results and promotions regularly to stay customer-ready. Support store operations, including opening/closing procedures, securing assets, and reporting issues.
4. Deliver customer-obsessed service by connecting personally, building rapport, and exceeding expectations. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when necessary.
5. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer journey from setup to support and account management.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Passion for customer satisfaction and effective engagement.
• Team-oriented mindset willing to learn and share best practices.
• Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $17.50, with training and incentive opportunities. Full-time employees may earn up to $20/hour including incentives, plus eligibility for annual stock grants.
