Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment using digital tools, effectively communicate, educate, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of products and services, including onboarding and self-serve options.
  3. Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, products, and systems. Continuously improve skills to provide excellent customer service and support store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and securing assets.
  4. Be customer-obsessed by connecting personally, building rapport, trust, and loyalty, and proactively reaching out to potential customers to drive sales. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and build relationships with existing clients.
  5. Build relationships with store leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about customer advocacy, balancing experience and performance goals (Required)
  • Team Building: Willingness to collaborate with peers and leaders, share best practices (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age

Hourly Pay: $20.00/hour plus $5.00/hour training pay during the first 90 days. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert includes eligibility for an annual incentive of approximately $18,000, performance and full-time status dependent. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives and are eligible for stock grants.
