Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including onboarding solutions.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, products, and processes; review personal results and updates to stay customer-ready. Support onboarding of customers and perform store operations, including opening and closing procedures and securing assets.
  4. Be customer-obsessed: connect on a personal level, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Proactively reach out to potential customers, follow up, capture referrals, and manage customer relationships.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail environment preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about customer service, able to balance experience and performance goals (Required)
  • Team Building: Willing to collaborate, learn, and share best practices (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. Post-training, eligible for incentives and promotion to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, and more.
