Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, are obsessed with the connected world, and excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend solutions, and aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to communicate effectively, educate, and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services through solution-based selling techniques.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, systems, and processes. Continuously improve skills to provide the best customer experience, including partnering with nearby stores for onboarding and performing store operations and security procedures.
  4. Be customer obsessed—connect on a personal level, build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when necessary.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support customer account setup, device support, and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer satisfaction: passionate advocate, effective at balancing experience and goals (Required)
  • Team building: willingness to collaborate and learn (Required)
  • Retail sales: competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $17.50, with on-the-job training and incentives. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock plans, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family benefits, tuition assistance, and discounts.
