Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are key members of the Retail Team responsible for representing the T-Mobile brand within National Sales partner locations. They engage actively with customers, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. These ambassadors thrive in high-traffic environments, staying current with technology innovations and evolving customer needs. They excel in building relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and educating them on solutions. Mobile Associates aim to exceed their performance targets by providing excellent customer service and meeting sales and quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Engage proactively with customers in a busy retail setting, using digital tools to communicate and educate about T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Utilize digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate the value of our products and services, including onboarding and app usage.
  3. Complete training on store experience, new products, and processes; review personal results and stay current with promotions and updates to provide the best customer experience.
  4. Build rapport with customers, match their pace, and foster trust and loyalty, while proactively reaching out to potential customers and managing follow-up processes.
  5. Collaborate with nearby store teams to support customer account setup, device support, and account management.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to connect and have fun with customers while balancing experience and performance goals (Required)
  • Team-oriented mindset, willing to learn and share best practices with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

  • Must be at least 18 years old

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an incentive target of $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives.
