Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are vital members of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a high-traffic environment, and excel at building customer relationships through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend solutions, and aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Engage proactively with customers in a busy retail setting, using digital tools to communicate and educate about T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services to deepen relationships.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, and systems; continuously improve skills; and support store operations, including opening and closing procedures and security.
  4. Be passionate and friendly, connecting on a personal level, building rapport, trust, and loyalty, and proactively reaching out to drive sales and manage customer follow-up and referrals.
  5. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from setup to support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer satisfaction: Passionate advocate, effective at balancing experience and goals (Required)
  • Team building: Willingness to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Retail sales: Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
Additional Information

Within the first 90 days, receive on-the-job training and become eligible for hourly training pay. Afterward, promote to Mobile Expert with an incentive target of $18,000/year, varying by performance. All employees earn at least $20/hour including incentives and are eligible for an annual stock grant.
