Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are an essential part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They act as ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, are passionate about the connected world, and excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend solutions, and aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail environment using digital tools, effectively communicate, educate, and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate product value. Assist customers in understanding how to self-serve via the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, and systems; review personal results and promotions; continuously improve skills; and support store operations, including opening and closing procedures, securing assets, and reporting issues.
  4. Be customer-obsessed by connecting personally, building rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides for special offers.
  5. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support customer account setup, device support, and account servicing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to balance experience with performance goals (Required)
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic store team, learn, and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Hourly Pay: $17.50, with incentives and potential promotion to Mobile Expert role with additional incentives. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants.
