Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. Mobile Associates excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and demonstrate product value through solution-based selling techniques.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, new products, and processes; review personal results and promotions regularly to stay customer-ready.
  4. Build rapport and trust with customers, proactively follow up, capture referrals, and manage sales processes effectively.
  5. Collaborate with nearby store locations to support customer onboarding and store operations, including opening/closing procedures and security measures.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong customer service passion and ability to connect personally with customers (Required)
  • Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive sales drive and ability to succeed in fast-paced environments (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $19.00. During training, associates are eligible for incentive pay; after training, they can earn up to $18,000 annually in incentives, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives.
