Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They identify customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates are expected to exceed their performance targets by doing it the right way—excel in sales, provide exceptional customer experiences, and meet quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, utilizing digital tools, effective communication, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions to identify needs and demonstrate product and service value, assisting customers in understanding how to self-serve via the T-Mobile app.
  3. Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, products, processes, and system knowledge. Review results, promotions, and updates regularly to stay customer-ready. Participate in store operations, including opening/closing procedures, securing assets, and reporting lost keys or assets.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by connecting on a personal level, building rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when necessary.
  5. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)

  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about customer advocacy, balancing experience and performance goals (Required)
  • Team Building: Willing to collaborate and learn with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Driven and confident in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Travel

Position is not DOT regulated or safety sensitive.

Compensation

Base pay is $17.50/hour. During the first 90 days, associates receive training and are eligible for incentive pay. Post-training, they can promote to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Additionally, every employee is eligible for an annual stock grant.
