Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They're ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They are obsessed with the connected world and thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They are skilled at identifying customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associate SiS, exceed their performance targets by doing it the right way, excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment, using digital tools, effective communication, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, identify customer needs, and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, including guiding customers on using the T-Mobile app for wireless needs.
  3. Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills, products, and processes, and continuously improve to provide the best customer experience. Partner with nearby store locations for customer onboarding, perform store operations, and secure kiosk assets, reporting any issues to management.
  4. Be customer-obsessed—connect on a personal level, build rapport, trust, and loyalty, and aim to exceed customer expectations. Proactively reach out to potential customers, follow up, and manage relationships and referrals.
  5. Build relationships with leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate, effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals (Required)
  • Team Building: Willingness to collaborate and share best practices (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour plus $5.00/hour training pay during onboarding. After training, eligible for incentive target of $18,000/year, with total guaranteed earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
