Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are key members of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in high-traffic environments, and are passionate about the connected world. They excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. Mobile Associates are expected to exceed performance targets by providing excellent customer service, achieving sales goals, and meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail environment, using digital tools and effective communication to educate and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and use solution-based selling to demonstrate product and service value, including promoting self-service and app utilization.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, new products, and systems. Review personal results, promotions, and updates to stay customer-ready. Support onboarding of customers across store locations, perform store operations, and secure assets, reporting any issues to management.
  4. Be customer-obsessed by building rapport, trust, and loyalty through friendly and engaging interactions. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and build relationships with new and existing clients. Perform price overrides for special offers as needed.
  5. Develop relationships with nearby leadership and teams to enhance the customer experience, from account setup to device support and servicing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail experience preferred (Required)
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and the ability to connect authentically with customers (Required)
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic team, learn, and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

  • Must be at least 18 years old

Hourly Base Pay: $17.50

During the first 90 days, associates receive training and are eligible for incentives. Post-training, they can promote to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Every employee is eligible for an annual stock grant.
