Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. They build meaningful connections with customers, deepening relationships and helping them find personalized solutions through education, demonstrations, and recommendations. This role is a learning position, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers in their shopping journey across online, Customer Care, and in-store channels.
    • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology.
    • Selling accessories, IoT devices, and customized solutions.
    • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to enhance customer interactions, including:
    • Explaining coverage and network benefits.
    • Promoting T-Mobile plans and services.
    • Completing training on store experience, systems, and resources.
    • Learning about wireless innovations and technology between customer visits.
  • Establish relationships and collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to:
    • Own the customer experience and resolve issues.
    • Identify and refer small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour plus $5.00 training pay; after training, eligible for incentives and stock grants
