Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They focus on building meaningful connections with customers, uncovering needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store. Explore individual needs and demonstrate the latest technology, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans and services, and stay informed about wireless innovations. Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, systems, and resources. Seek out information during shifts to enhance knowledge.
  • Build relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives in an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to collaborate with peers and leaders, learn, share ideas, and resolve customer issues (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50, with training and incentive opportunities. Full-time employees can earn up to $20/hour including incentives, plus eligibility for annual stock grants.
