Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, connecting deeply with customers to understand their needs and recommend device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class experience, assisting customers online and in-store, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions.
  2. Digital Tools & Knowledge: Use digital tools effectively, understand coverage and plans, complete training on store experience, and stay informed about innovations.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner with employees across channels, resolve issues, identify business leads, and support inclusive team initiatives.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun (Required)
  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a sales environment (Required)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and balance customer needs with goals (Required)
Additional Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $19.00. During training, associates are eligible for incentive pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, annual incentives can total approximately $18,000, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, tuition assistance, insurance options, and discounts.
