Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations and customer needs. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating and demonstrating device and service solutions, and are in a learning role to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store. Explore needs, demonstrate technology, and offer personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools and Training: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services. Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and innovations. Maximize shift time for learning and development.
  3. Relationship Building: Collaborate with team members across channels to enhance customer experience, resolve issues, and support team initiatives, fostering an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people. (Required)
  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a sales environment. (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders. (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals. (Required)

Hourly Pay: $21.00 + $5.00 training pay. After 90 days, promotion to Mobile Expert with potential incentives. All employees guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Eligible for stock grants and other benefits.
