Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and retail experiences. They focus on building strong connections with customers, uncovering their needs, and educating them about device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, where new associates build skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales Skills: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience, and fostering loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers seamlessly across online, Customer Care, and in-store channels.
    • Exploring individual needs and demonstrating technology products.
    • Offering personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools & Product Knowledge: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services. Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources. Continuously learn about wireless innovations and technology.
  3. Relationship Building & Teamwork: Partner with colleagues across channels to:
    • Own the customer experience and resolve issues.
    • Identify and refer small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Work Experience: 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Skills & Abilities: Passionate about customer advocacy, competitive drive, team collaboration, and balancing customer needs with performance goals (All required)

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Hourly Pay: $17.50, with training incentives and potential promotion to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees guaranteed $20/hour including incentives.
