Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience. They focus on building connections with customers, uncovering needs, and educating on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities

1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience by assisting customers online, in-store, and via Customer Care; exploring needs; demonstrating technology; and offering personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices.
2. Utilize digital tools for interactions and onboarding, demonstrating coverage, plans, and services; complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources; and stay informed on innovations.
3. Establish relationships and collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance the customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Passionate customer advocate with a fun and genuine approach (Required)
• Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

Additional Information

Hourly pay starts at $19.00 plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an incentive target of $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives.
