Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills in preparation for advancement to a Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers with their shopping journey across online, Customer Care, and in-store channels.
    • Offering hands-on demonstrations of technology products.
    • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools effectively during interactions and onboarding to demonstrate:
    • Coverage and network speed in the customer's neighborhood.
    • Benefits of T-Mobile plans and services.
    • Knowledge of in-store experience, new skills, and systems.
  3. Build relationships across channels, including business and customer service, to:
    • Own the customer experience and resolve issues seamlessly.
    • Identify and hand off small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with customers (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old

Hourly Pay: Starting at $17.50/hour plus $5.00 training pay. After training, eligible for incentives and stock grants. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives and stock grants.
