Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They focus on building strong customer relationships, uncovering needs, and educating customers about our device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by assisting customers in-store, exploring their needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tool Usage: Use digital tools effectively during interactions, demonstrating coverage, plans, and services, and completing training on in-store experience, systems, and processes. Continuously seek information and stay updated on wireless innovations.
  3. Relationship Building: Collaborate with other T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Ability to work collaboratively, learn, and resolve customer issues (Required)

Hourly Pay: Starting at $17.50/hour plus $5.00/hour training pay. Upon promotion to Mobile Expert, eligible for an annual incentive of approximately $18,000, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are also eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
