Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who energize and excite customers about our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are always evolving. They build meaningful connections with customers, deepening relationships and uncovering needs to educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This is a learning role, where new associates work with their team to develop skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement and Sales:
    • Provide a world-class customer experience, helping customers continue their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Explore individual needs and demonstrate the latest technology in-store.
    • Sell personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices, with integrity and compassion.
    • Approach service and sales needs with professionalism and empathy.
  2. Digital Tools and Training:
    • Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services effectively.
    • Complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources.
    • Seek out information and stay updated on wireless innovations during shifts.
  3. Team Collaboration:
    • Partner across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Identify and pass small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)

Additional Details

Travel: No
DOT Regulated: No
Hourly Pay: $19.00/hr + $5.00/hr training pay during onboarding. Post-training, eligible for incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hr including incentives. Employees also qualify for an annual stock grant.
