Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs are always evolving. They focus on building relationships with customers, uncovering needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and fostering loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers whether online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Demonstrating the latest technology hands-on.
    • Providing personalized solutions beyond basic devices and plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Handling service and sales needs with integrity and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools during interactions to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, and complete training on store experience, systems, and resources. Seek continuous learning about innovations in wireless technology.
  3. Establish relationships with other T-Mobile employees across channels to:
    • Ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Identify and hand off small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun while connecting (Required)
  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to collaborate and learn from peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Base Pay: $17.50. During the first 90 days, associates receive training and are eligible for incentive pay. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants.
