Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) are part of a Retail Team of Experts, serving as brand ambassadors who energize and excite customers about our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, building meaningful connections with customers, understanding their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working alongside their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities

1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience by assisting customers online, in-store, or via Customer Care, exploring needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions.
2. Digital Tools and Training: Use digital tools to showcase coverage, plans, and services, complete training on store experience, and stay informed about wireless innovations.
3. Team Collaboration: Partner with other T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and foster an inclusive environment.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
• Competitive drive and success in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)

Hourly Pay: Starting at $17.50/hour plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an incentive target of $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for annual stock grants.
