Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, building meaningful connections with customers, understanding their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning and growth, with new associates working alongside their team to develop skills for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
  • Assisting customers at all stages of their shopping journey, online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology.
  • Selling personalized solutions beyond devices and plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Approaching customer interactions with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools effectively during interactions and onboarding to:
    • Show coverage maps and explain LTE network benefits.
    • Educate customers on plans and services that keep them connected and satisfied.
    • Complete training on store experience, systems, and resources.
    • Continuously learn about wireless innovations and product offerings.
  • Establish and maintain relationships across channels by:
    • Owning the customer experience and resolving issues seamlessly.
    • Identifying and referring small business leads.
    • Supporting team initiatives and fostering an inclusive environment.
    Qualifications

    Education: High School Diploma/GED (Required)

    Work Experience: Minimum 6 months in customer service and/or sales, retail preferred (Required)

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Customer-focused with a passion for connecting and having fun.
    • Competitive drive and success in sales environments.
    • Willingness to learn and collaborate with team members and leaders.
    • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals.

    Pay: Starting at $17.50/hour, with incentives and promotion opportunities leading to an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including base pay and incentives.
