Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building connections with customers, uncovering needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is a learning position, preparing associates for advancement to Mobile Expert after completing training.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store; exploring needs; demonstrating technology; and offering personalized solutions.
  2. Digital Tools & Knowledge: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate network coverage, plan benefits, and new products; complete training on store systems and resources; and continuously learn about wireless innovations.
  3. Relationship Building: Partner with team members across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support inclusive team initiatives.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Passionate about customer service and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in sales environment (Required)
  • Willing to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)

  • At least 18 years old

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with incentives and promotion opportunities. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives and stock grants.
